The Discovery Center offers 2, 3 or 5 day programs from 9 - 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 - 3:00 p.m. A 5- day state certified Kindergarten program is also available. A low teacher to child ratio is always maintained. Each class is taught by 2 or more Montessori certified teachers and an assistant trained in the Montessori method.
The children are taught French on Fridays and are exposed to classical music through the School House Symphony which visits the school 3 times a year. There are frequent field trips as well as additional in — school programs.
CLASSROOM
The Discovery Center is a pre-primary program for children ages 3-6. the classrooms are divided into Every day Living, Sensorial, Language Arts, Science and Geography areas. There is also a large-muscle room and a large, well-equipped and fenced outdoor play area.
